PODE HAVER ALGO MAIS ROMÂNTICO DO QUE PERDER-SE POR MÁLAGA?

Malaga, known as ‘La Bella’ (or ‘the Beautiful’), is a cultural, cosmopolitan, universal, open, relaxed and welcoming city, home to more than thirty museums. It boasts many places of interest, such as the El Palo neighbourhood, with its typical fishermen’s houses and “pescaíto” fried fish, Malagueta beach, the Farola lighthouse and the breakwater, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city. The city’s highlights include the park, which is home to species of plants from all over the world, the Cathedral, Gibralfaro Castle, the Alcazaba fortress, the Roman Theatre and Plaza de la Merced, where the great Picasso was born. It is also dotted with many churches of tourist interest as well as public buildings such as Buenavista Palace and the Consulate House. In the surrounding area, the Finca de la Concepción and the Hacienda de San José country estates are reminders of the city’s glorious past. A little over an hour from Malaga, you have Cordoba, a historic city, which has been declared a World Heritage Site, where art and history are to be found hidden away in alleys, patios and squares. It is mainly known for its unique Mosque, a fine example of the splendour of the Caliphate. However, we must not forget about the Cathedral, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, the Roman Bridge and the Albolafia water mill, as well as the Calahorra Tower, the Jewish Quarter, the Cordoban courtyards, the Plaza del Potro and all the other attractions of what is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world.
