Another appealing option is a trip to Cadiz, also known as ‘Tacita de Plata’ (or ‘Silver Cup’), with its unmistakable maritime flavour and friendly residents, who demonstrate their hospitality during the city’s famous carnivals. Its highlights include incredibly interesting monuments, such as the Cathedral, the ramparts, the Parroquia de Santa Cruz church, Genovés Park and the Puerta de la Caleta gateway.
