Transition towards a decarbonised aviation
For flights today and in the future, we want cleaner skies. Volotea knows that this is the challenge of our generation and is working for a transition towards an aviation sector that is less polluting and in alignment with the principles of sustainable mobility.
For this reason, more than 93 % of Volotea’ s flights cannot be covered by train in less than 6 hours. Among our more than 400 routes, in 2024 only 1 can be covered by train in less than 4 hours (MAD-RMU).
Usefulness and eco-efficiency
We strive to be our customers’ first choice in terms of environmental responsibility. Most of our flights connect cities that do not have a more eco-efficient alternative.
Reduction and Investment
We constantly seek ways to improve our cost-effectiveness, which results in a reduced, more efficient use of resources. We’re reducing our fuel consumption and investing in aircraft and cabin designs that are lighter and more eco-efficient.
Inspire and support
Since we started flying, we have launched more than 50 initiatives to reduce the fuel consumption of our aircraft, and we achieved a reduction of 45.5% of the related CO2 emissions per passenger kilometer up to 2022.

Our annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report is a Non-Financial Information Statement part of the Consolidated Management Report for every financial year since 2018. It serves as a testament to Volotea's commitment to transparency, accountability, and making a positive impact beyond the bottom line. All reports have been verified by an external verification service.
FOR INTEGRITY, HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY
Volotea S.L. provides a secure, two-way whistleblowing channel that serves as a tool for submitting complaints related to the application of our Code of Business Principles and for reporting any possible irregularity, non-compliance or behaviour contrary to ethics, legality and the rules governing this company.
All reports made through this channel will be confidential and the sender will be protected against any attempt of retaliation.
The whistleblowing channel can only be accessed by members authorised by internal regulations. In addition, it guarantees the integrity in the traceability of the management of the complaint and/or query from its entry to its resolution. The person making the report is fully guaranteed anonymity in the digital environment if he/she chooses to make the report anonymously. In the event that the sender wishes to identify him/herself, an optional section has been enabled in the whistleblowing channel where he/she can enter his/her details.
After submitting the report, the sender will receive a confirmation of receipt and an ‘identifier and password’ to access, at any time and anonymously, the situation or possible communication about his or her report. So please save your ‘identifier and password’ and periodically check our communications on this channel or at your email address.
