CAMO Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a CAMO ENGINEER, who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is in our Engineering office in Barcelona.

Profile:

- Master Degree Aircraft Engineering or equivalent

- 4 years’ experience working in an Engineering environment in CAMO

- EASA Part66 CAT C or B1 is a plus

- A320 experience, Level 3 course desirable. Boeing 717 experience is a plus

- Experienced in working with AIRBUS & BOEING manuals and data sources

- Fluent in Spanish and English is essential

- Good knowledge of EASA regulations

- Previous experience within a EASA-OPS approved organization and familiarity with EASA Part M requirements

Capabilities:

- Maintenance Organization in compliance with EASA and AESA requirements and Volotea’s procedures as defined in the CAME and other manuals.

- To provide approved data and repair instruction from the Type Certificate Holder in order to support maintenance execution.

- Edition, review and update of the maintenance program, and submission to the authority for approval.

- To provide support and advice to the technical teams during the planning and preparation for base checks and repairs.

- Ensure the compliance of planned maintenance according to the approved maintenance program.

- Evaluation of AD, SB, repairs and non-mandatory modifications ensuring that compliance with these modifications and repairs are according to EASA regulations.

- Implementation of any operational or airworthiness directive and any other requirements for continuous airworthiness issued by the Authority.

- Support in the analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance program.

- Ensure that the applied modifications or repairs have been approved in accordance with Annex (Part 21) to Regulation (EC) No 1702/2003.

- Issuance of engineering orders and engineering bulletins.

- Determine empty weight and centre of gravity of each aircraft after reweighed, reconfiguration or recalculation and related notification of the Operations Department.

- Support in preparations for end of lease phase out and aircraft phase in are complete, the aircraft are compliant, and that financial exposure is minimised and managed accordingly.

MCC Duty Engineer

We are looking for a MCC Duty Engineer who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is Barcelona Headquarters, however requires limited/regular travel to support Line Stations and occasional AOG recovery.

The position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and ultimately to the Head of Engineering and Maintenance and the Technical Director.

Purpose of the Position

As a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the Airworthiness of Volotea’s fleet, composed of Boeing B717-200 and Airbus A319, by proactive control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification. This would be in accordance with Company, Manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authorities procedures and legislation.

Profile:

EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on A320 family (CFM56), Boeing B717 will be a plus.

- Five Years relevant work experience, troubleshooting experience will be considered a plus.

- Previous experience in Maintenance Control, Technical representative, Airline Engineering or Line Maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English compulsory, Spanish, Italian and French will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Day to day Maintenance Operations Control:

- AOG monitoring and recovery, Fault Isolation and Parts Request.

- Control and rectification of Deferred Defects in due time, having direct impact on the operational performance of our fleet.

- Fleet Technical Status update and communication of the Operational Limitations.

- Airbus Fleet condition monitoring through AIRMAN (Aircraft Maintenance Analysis), in order to propose the necessary actions to rectify findings and areas of non-compliance.

- Traceability, Analysis and Troubleshooting of Intermittent Faults across the fleet.

- Technical delay follow-up during daily operation.

- Scheduled maintenance supervision to ensure performance of the Line Maintenance contractors is in compliance with Volotea standards.

- Primary interface between the maintenance department, OCC and Flight Crews on a daily basis. Support to Operations control to minimise the schedule disruption.

- Line Stations support on site.

- Support on non-routine maintenance tasks (e.g. Engine changes).

Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1 Airbus 319 type rated)

- EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on Boeing 717-200. Airbus A320 series will be considered a plus.

Capabilities:

- Verifying that all work required by the customer has been accomplished during the particular line maintenance activity or work package in accordance with the procedures specified in the Volotea MOE. Also, assess the impact of any work not been carried, and agreeing with the operator to defer such work to another specified check or time limit.

- Verifying that there are no non-compliances that may hazard the flight safety.

- Ensuring that the release certificate and/or technical log statement contains all the necessary details and reference numbers, including details of maintenance which was not completed but allows a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.

- Verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.

Offer:

Redelivery Engineer

Profile:

- Very good level of English.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.

Capabilities:

- The person is in charge of a comprehensive internal as well as external process discrepancy list, responsible for its ongoing update and distribution of actions as required.

- Performs a detailed technical evaluation of the aircraft and its records as required, comparing them with contractual obligations and listing and tracking detailed discrepancies and related actions.

- Coordinates pre-redelivery preparations within the airline and its suppliers to ensure an on-time, on-budget, compliant return process.

- On behalf of the airline, supervises aircraft return processes with third-party suppliers (MRO’s and engineering providers), reporting and coordinating as required with internal stakeholders, acting as on-site representative during the main return events, including maintenance checks, aircraft inspections, demonstration flights and contractual tracking of return facts and agreements.

- With deep knowledge of aircraft technical and records processes, performs and reports an ongoing risk assessment in achieving his targets.

- Additionally, will act as a flexible resource to the airline’s technical organization, mainly in support of base maintenance events.

- The employee will work in an office environment as well as on-site at event locations, within normal 40-per week office hours, but also occasionally out-of-office hours and/or weekends and different world time zones, as required by his projects.

We are looking for a Finance Controller

Purpose of the Position:

Inside the Finance department of Volotea and reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, the candidate will be in charge of financial controlling and reporting, mainly focusing on Operations control and Business Partnering.

Profile:

- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Reporting / Controlling / Audit in a leading firm / Finance Business partnering.

Profile:

- Master Degree Aircraft Engineering or equivalent

- 3-4 years of previous experience in Airline operations department and high understanding of the aviation operational environment.

Licensed Aircraft Engineer Hamburg (B1 A320 fam)

We are looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) Airbus 320 family type rated who are used to interact in different cultural environments, and who want to work in a challenging high-growth environment. 

The work place is Hamburg (Germany).

Purpose of the Position

As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer you will be in charge of carrying out the line maintenance of Volotea’s A320 fleet, as established by EASA Part 145 and other equivalents from other aeronautical authorities. You will carry out airworthiness maintenance tasks specific to the qualification level of the LAE collective, and carry out support maintenance tasks of the qualification level of the LAE collective in relation to the planning and control of production, data and maintenance records, utilities and tools.

Profile:

- EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on Airbus A320. Boeing 717-200 series will be considered a plus.

- Five Years relevant work and troubleshooting experience.

- Previous experience in aviation MRO environment: Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Technical representative or Airline Engineering.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English spoken & written compulsory. French, Spanish and Italian will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and cooperative attitude.

- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially AMOS, My Boeing Fleet and Airbus World).

- Work will take place from Monday to Friday, attending flight departures and arrivals.

- Experience in AIMS will be considered a plus.

- EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates in force will be considered a plus.

- Driver’s License.

Capabilities:

- Verifying that all work required by the customer has been accomplished during the particular line maintenance activity or work package in accordance with the procedures specified in the Volotea MOE. Also, assess the impact of any work not been carried, and agreeing with the operator to defer such work to another specified check or time limit.

- Verifying that there are no non-compliances that may hazard the flight safety.

- Ensuring that the release certificate and/or technical log statement contains all the necessary details and reference numbers, including details of maintenance which was not completed but allows a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.

- Verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.
