DID YOU KNOW THAT OUR SEATS ARE MORE SPACIOUS?

That's right, our aircrafts have 5% more space between seats than those of other similar companies. And, to make your journey even more comfortable, your seat is reserved, your second piece of hand luggage is on board, the friendly flight crew is on hand... And, because we know that sometimes airports can be exhausting, ours are smaller and more convenient.

About-Safety-16-9.png

QUALITY AND SAFETY

Volotea has renewed its IOSA registration (International Operational Audit Safety Program), issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), up to 2019.

The IOSA programme evaluates airlines' operational management and control systems, ensuring compliance with approximately 940 requirements and recommended practices relating to safety and operational quality.

Volotea has renewed the IOSA certification that was granted last year by IATA (International Air Transport Association), a leading international operational safety audit organization, which is a benchmark in the airline industry.

Created in 2001, the IOSA programme covers flight control, loading operations and passenger cabin operations, among others. IOSA is now a global standard that is recognised outside of the IATA. The total percentage of accidents among IOSA airlines is 3.3 times less than the percentage of airlines without the IATA quality certification.
