  • Fly with your baby when they are between 7 days and 23 months old.

    Babies sit on their parent's or guardian's lap during flights. Volotea cannot provide on-board cots. Babies under 7 days old may not fly for safety reasons.

  • You can carry liquids for your baby with no limit on volume

    Yes, if you are traveling with a baby, you can carry baby milk or fruit juice. Both are exempt from the liquid regulations. You can also carry liquid food if you need to.

  • Children under the age of 2 always travel with you

    Remember that babies should travel on their mother’s/father’s lap

  • Carry up to 2 items of baby equipment for free!

    You can bring two items (per child) of children’s equipment at no additional cost: a baby stroller, a seat or a folding carrier.

  • You must check your items in.

    Remember that these items must be registered at the check-in desk. If you have a stroller that meets the hand luggage measurements of 55 x 40 x 20 and you would prefer to take it into the cabin instead of checking it in, remember that you must choose between bringing the folding stroller or your hand luggage into the cabin.

Baby fares do not include a baggage allowance. Their bags must be shared with the accompanying adult.

  • Strollers/pushchairs are transported free of charge

    Simply register the pushchair at the check-in desk. Once it is registered, you can take it with you as far as the departure gate, where our staff will collect it.

    At your destination, you can pick it up from the baggage reclaim area.

    To be able to fly, children must show the right documentation for their country of origin and flight route:

TRAVELLING WHEN PREGNANT

If you are pregnant, Volotea allows you to travel up to week 36 of your pregnancy.

  • Without a medical certificate if you are between weeks 1 and 27.

    (Including week 27)

  • With a medical certificate if you are between weeks 28 and 35.

    (Both inclusive) You must carry an original copy of a doctor's letter confirming your fitness to fly. The letter must state its period of validity and include the registration number and signature of the doctor.

  • From week 36, Volotea will not allow you to fly.

LARGE FAMILIES

If you are travelling as a Large Family, remember that you must state this when booking and show the relevant documentation on the day of the flight:

  • Original certificate or notarised copy

    Before boarding, you must show the original or a notarised copy of your Large Family Certificate issued by your Autonomous Community.
